Medicaid health plans provide health care coverage to more than two million Medicaid recipients across the Commonwealth. PAMCO and its member MCOs share a common goal of ensuring access to high quality healthcare to our Medicaid members. Many are among the State’s most vulnerable citizens.

The coalition of Pennsylvania Medicaid Managed Care Organizations (PAMCO) mission is to proactively advocate for Pennsylvania’s Medicaid Physical Health MCOs and their respective plan members. They do so by promoting the value proposition for Medicaid managed care, the necessity for continued support and viability of the Health Choices model, as well as affordable access to high quality physical healthcare.
