The Pennsylvania Coalition of Medical Assistance MCO's is comprised of Managed Care Organizations (MCO) working in communities across Pennsylvania who share a common goal of ensuring affordable access to high-quality healthcare for the Commonwealth’s 1.8 million Medicaid recipients, the most vulnerable of our citizens.

Roughly 15 percent of the state’s population is enrolled in the Medicaid program in an average month. The total cost of the program last year was $16.6 billion. Approximately one-third of children in the Commonwealth are covered through the Medicaid program.
